Nationwide’s Sports editor, Wayne Walker, says several athletes signalled their intention to be the heroes of track and field at the Paris Olympics.
Walker was Nationwide’s reporter in the city of love for the Summer games.
He says these athletes are more than capable of filling the void left by Usain Bolt when he retired in 2017.
Speaking on Sports Nation Live, Walker says 100-metres silver medallist, Kishane Thompson is one of the athletes for the future.
