The West Indies Academy were trailing Emerging Ireland by 197 runs at close on day two of their second four day tour game at the Civil Service Cricket Ground in Belfast.
The close Emerging Ireland were 397 for 7 after dismissing the West Indies Academy for 200 on yesterday’s first day.
Fionn Hand is not out 61, but it was Andrew Balbirnie who led the way with 88 and he was supported by Andy McBrine 64, James McColloum 40 and Paul Stirling 32.
Joshua Bishop 2 for 72 and Teddy Bishop 2 for 35 bagged most wickets for the Academy.
Bishop starred for the Academy yesterday with 69 and Nyeem Young 29 as they made 200 all out.
The West Indies Academy trail the series 1-nil after going down by 72 runs in the first game.
