Who is Lawrence Rowe?

The name Lawrence Rowe is at the centre of the Hush Money Scandal plaguing the People’s National Party.

The ousted PNP caretaker for Central Kingston alleges that the party offered to appoint him to the Senate, name him to the board of a housing agency, and grant him $15 million in resources if he went quietly.

The party has sought to deny his claims, but Rowe says he has documented material to support his claims.

But who is Lawrence Rowe and how much do we know about him?

Robian Williams tells us.

Lawrence Rowe is a 36-year-old Accountant by profession with over 20-years of political experience.

His journey began in Allman Town on Arnold Road in Central Kingston, where he lived before moving with his family to Chancery Hall on Horatio Drive in St. Andrew.

However, he later returned to Central Kingston where he currently resides.

Rowe says his educational journey was anything but smooth.

He attended two infant schools, two primary schools, one all-age school, and one high school.

After high school he continued his studies in accounting and engaged in community volunteerism and political advocacy.

During Rowe’s exclusive interview with Cliff Hughes Online on Tuesday, he was moved to tears as he reflected on his life.

Rowe shared his background in party politics.

He disclosed that his last employment was at a commodities distributor, Rerum Trading Limited, where he worked as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

At the time he says Mark Golding and Peter Bunting were the primary shareholders of the company.

When asked if he had secrets for the party leadership, Rowe responded by saying he’s a political tactician.

Rowe says he has both written and audio evidence to prove that the party leadership offered him an appointment to the Senate, and membership to the board of a housing agency along with 15-million dollars in resources as part of negotiations to transition him out of the seat.
