WI Rising Stars U-19 Competitions Still in Limbo

There’s still uncertainty over the start to the West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 men’s and women’s competitions in Trinidad and Tobago and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Organisers were forced to shelve plans to start the tournaments this week.

Azim Basarath, President of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board says travel in the region has been compromised by the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

He says there’s little option but to delay the start of the competitions.
