The start of the West Indies under-19 men’s and women’s Rising Stars 3-day and 50 overs competitions have been postponed due to hurricane Beryl, until further notice.
The Men’s competition was set to bowl-off in St. Vincent and the Grenadines today, while the Women’s tournament is set to start in Trinidad and Tobago, on Thursday .
However, veteran cricket commentator, Joseph ‘Reds’ Perriera, says given the effects of Beryl, organisers were forced to postpone the tournament.
Perriera says teams were stuck in Barbados.
