West Indies Women beat Bangladesh Women by three wickets in their ICC World Cup Qualifier at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan on Thursday.
The Windies successfully chased 228 reaching their target with 24 balls to spare.
Chinelle Henry top scored for the women from the Caribbean with an unbeaten 51. She was supported by Jamaica’s Stafanie Taylor who scored 36, captain Hayley Matthews who made 33, Quiana Joseph, who scored 31, and Shermaine Campbell who finished with 21.
Earlier the Bangladeshis were restricted to 227 for 9 in their 50 overs.
Sharmin Aktar made 67 as Aaliyah Alleyne bagged four wickets for 39 runs. Matthews and Afy Fletcher picked up two wickets each.
With the win, the West Indies keep alive their hopes of making it to the World Cup.
