Williams, Tapper Among 7 Ja’cans in Action at Opening Diamond League Meet

Seven Jamaicans are down to compete at the opening Diamond League meet of the season in Xiamen Saturday morning Jamaica time.

World champion Danielle Williams and Olympic bronze medallist Megan Tapper will line up in the 100m hurdles scheduled to go off at 6:17 am.

The men’s equivalent at 7:27 am will feature the Olympic champion Hansle Parchment and Orlando Bennett.

Former world champion Yohan Blake, national champion Rohan Watson and Ackeem Blake will run in the men’s 100 metre at 7.53 am with the likes of Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley.

American superstar Sha’Carri Richardson will also be in action she goes in the women’s 200 metre with Twishana Terry and Antonique Strachan.
