The West Indies selectors have made just one change to the squad which recently toured Sri Lanka, for the three match One Day International series against England starting on Thursday.
Guyanese star Shimron Hetmyer makes a return to the West Indies one day set up for the first time since December last year and he takes the place of Alick Athanaze as the lone change.
The rest of the squad is Shai Hope captain, Keacy Carty, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Jewel Andrew, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford, Jayden Seales, Romario Shepherd, Shamar Joseph and Hayden Walsh Junior.
The series starts on Thursday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, a day/ night affair bowling off at 3pm Jamaica time.
Games two will be at the same venue on Saturday November 2 while the third and final game will be at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown Barbados on Wednesday November 6.
The teams will will also be engaged in a five match T20 International series and the West Indies Squad for that will be announced shortly.
Despite losing both series in Sri Lanka, coach Darren Sammy says the team will be more at home in their own conditions.
Sammy says he’s urging the players to approach all the games in the series with a winning mentality.
