The West Indies took a 1-nil lead in their three match One Day International series against England with a comfortable eight-wicket win at the the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Thursday night.
England was dismissed for 209 in 45.1 overs as Gudakesh Motie bagged 4 for 41 backed up by two wickets each from Matthew Forde, Jaydon Seales and Alzarrie Joseph.
Captain Liam Livingston 48 and Sam Curran 37 led the England batting.
The West Indies breezed to 81 without loss after 15 overs when rain forced a 1 hour delay.
On the resumption they were asked to get a revised 155 off 35 overs.
In-form opener Evin Lewis, who was on 51 at the stoppage, raced to a breezy 94 off 69 balls with eight sixes and five fours to ensure victory at 157 for 2. Lewis shared in an opening stand of 118 with Brandon King who made 30.
Game two in the series will be played on Saturday at the same venue.
