Sprint hurdler Yanique Thompson was the only Jamaican winner at Sunday’s World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meet in Berlin Germany.
Thompson won her pet event in 12.73 seconds while former national record holder Brittany Anderson, the 2022 World Championships silver medallist, was second in 12.89.
In the men’s sprint hurdles, Omar McLeod finished third in 13.28 seconds as world and Olympic Games champion Grant Holloway of the United States was first in 13.14.
Zandrion Barnes was second in the men’s 400m in 45.47 seconds.
Meanwhile, Danniel Thomas-Dodd was also third in the women’s shot put with 18.35 metres.
