Jamaica was drawn in Pool “A” for the Americas Netball World Youth Qualifiers in Guadeloupe, from July 7-14.
They are joined by, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, the Cayman Islands and Canada.
The Jamaicans are hoping to secure one of three qualifying spots to the World Youth Cup in Gibraltar, in September.
Pool “B” include, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Maarten and hosts Guadeloupe.
Jamaica’s first match will be on July 7 when they take on Grenada.
Coach of the young Sunshine Girls, Phyllis Thompson, says they have been using the Red Stripe Flavours Netball Jamaica Elite League as part of their preparation.
