Yung Lion’s EP launch Well Supported

The name Yung Lion is quickly becoming a staple in local and international music circles. The new Reggae sensation launched his debut EP entitled “Lion Up” on April 26, 2024, at TGL Lounge in Kingston and received much support from industry insiders, fellow artists as well as local and international media.

“I feel honored and happy because the outpouring of support was tremendous which goes to show that quality music with positive content is still appreciated. I must say nuff respect to all the artistes that showed support and to my team that put the whole thing together. It was a great vibe” stated Yung Lion.

Yung Lion creates a hybrid sound by merging Reggae, Dancehall and Hip-hop

The 19-year-old Reggae Singjay hit the stage at about 11:30 pm and was very well received by his audience. Earlier the likes of Chi Ching Ching, Accid, King Calie, Cappa Flex, Torch, Deniero and Chaps gave high-energy performances. Several key industry players were also in attendance such as PR specialists Karl Durrant (Yunglion’s publicist), Kevin Jackson, Toni Ann Kelly, Street promoter Ghetto Bomb, Geefus from Stone Love, Ninja Kid, Uk based label owner 425 Records and many more.

Yung Lion’s “Lion Up” EP is now available on all major digital platforms. Yung Lion is also slated to make his Reggae Sumfest Debut where he is billed for International Night alongside Babyface and Beres Hammond.
