Former champions Kingston College will open their campaign in the ISSA/Manning Cup schoolboy football competition when they play away to Penwood High at the Marverley field, Monday afternoon at 3:30.
The boys from North Street were knocked out of the competition at the semi-final stage last year and coach Vassell Reynolds, says they intend to improve on that performance.

Meanwhile, Edith Dalton James play away to St. Mary’s College in their first game of the season. Coach of the Duhaney Park-based school, Omar Taff, says he’s tempering his expectations for his young side.

In the other fixtures, Tarrant host Charlie Smith, Gaynstead welcome Jonathan Grant, Cumberland are at home to Campion College, Meadowbrook entertain Jose Marti, Tivoli Gardens take on Denham Town and St. Jago play Wolmer’s.
Meanwhile, in the daCosta Cup competition, Iona Welcome Titchfield and St. Mary High tussle with Horace Clarke.
