PREPARING FOR 2022!
Are you ready to kick-start your 2022? I wrote this 2021 Year in Review and kick-starter for 2022 to help you reflect and set goals for the new year. You don’t have to set goals at the beginning of the year, you can actually do it at any time. Click the button below to download it.
This guide will help you to reflect on what you have achieved and to push yourself to think about where you would like to be in your life.
Is your goal to have financial freedom, to buy a house, a car, to start school? Breaking down those goals into bite-sized pieces is one of the first steps to get you there. So take this first step in thinking about the big picture then break them down into monthly, weekly or even daily actions!
For example: I want to buy a car in one year. The down payment is 10% so I estimate I have to save at least 300,000. To save 300,000 in one year I need to save 25,000 in one week. That means I need to save $6250 in one month. I will also need to plan for vehicle related expenses so I will try save $7000 a week to have some extra cushion.
Once you do that, use a savings tracker like the one in my Budget Template to help you keep on top of that goal. Hold a monthly meeting with yourself (and your accountability partner if necessary) to review where you are and if you happen to have fallen behind, put together a plan to catch back up.
Wishing you all the best for 2022 and hope all your goals are achieved!
