Ackeem Blake Win 100m in Switzerland

Ackeem Blake was the only Jamaica winner at the Gala dei Castelli, two-day World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meet in Bellinzola, Switzerland, which ended yesterday.

Blake posted 9.96 seconds to win the men’s 100 metres, finishing ahead of Akani Simbini of South Africa 10.04 seconds.

Zandrian Barnes was third in the men’s 400 metres in 46.25 seconds.

2022 World Under-20 champion Roshawn Clarke posted 49.23 seconds for 4th in the men’s 400 metres hurdles.

Orlando Bennett was seventh in the 110 metres hurdles in 14.01 seconds.

And Olympic bronze medallist Rojindra Campbell was fifth in the men’s shot put with a best throw of 20.80 metres.
