Arsenal, Inter-Milan Secure Last Two Spots in Champions League Semis

Arsenal and Inter-Milan secured the last two spots to the European Champions League Semi-finals following Wednesday’s last set of second leg quarter-final ties.

The Gunners went to the Santiago Bernabeu and beat defending champions Real Madrid 2-1 on goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to advance 5-1 on aggregate.

Arsenal remains the only established team on the continent never to have lost a Champions League game to Real Madrid.

Inter Milan booked their spot 4-2 on aggregate after playing out a 2-all draw with Bayern Munich in the second leg of their quarter-final tie at the San Siro in Milan.

The semifinals will be played on April 29 and May 6 with Arsenal facing Paris Saint Germain and Inter-Milan against Barcelona.
