Deputy General Secretary of the PNP, Nekeisha Burchell, is accusing the JLP of attempting to buy votes in the upcoming by-election in the Aenon Town Division in Clarendon.
Ms. Burchell and other senior members of the PNP toured the division on Monday.
She says residents shared this concern with her.
Voters in the Aenon Town Division will go to the polls this Friday, November 22, to elect a new councillor.
Delroy Dawson is running on the PNP’s ticket to secure the municipal seat left vacant following the passing of Marjorie McLeod-McFarlane.
He will be up against the JLP’s Suzette Barton.
