The Edwin Allen pair of Denique Palmer and Kevongaye Fowler will enter the semi-final round of the girls' Class 3 800 metres as the top two qualifiers after heats at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships today.
Palmer, running from heat six, stopped the clock at 2 minutes, 18.56 seconds (2:18.56) while Fowler’s 2:18.91 was good enough to cross the tape first in heat one.
St. Mary High’s Dallia Fairweather rounds out the top three qualifiers with her 2:22.65 win in heat three.
