“Come home to me” the mount of Tevin Foster, trained by Jason DaCosta won the fourth staging of the Winston “Fanna” Griffiths OD Classic at Caymanas Park, on Saturday.
The three-year-old bay filly won the nine-and-half furlong feature race in 3:03.2 for a purse of $3.75 million.
Meanwhile, jockeys Paul Francis and Oshane Nugent of team “A King is Born” won the jockey championships with 25 points.
Royal Dad the team of Robert Halledeen and Phillip Parchment took second with 22 points and Legal Light was third the team of Reyan Lewis and Shavon Townsend finished third with 21 points.
The winning team got $400,000, second place $250,000 and third $150,000.
