Former South Trelawny member of parliament, MP, Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert says her conscience is clear and she makes her return to run on the Jamaica Labour Party’s ticket in the November 22 by-election in the constituency.
Mrs. Dalrymple-Philibert resigned as MP last September following a report from the Integrity Commission that recommended that charges be laid against her for making false declarations about her ownership of a motor vehicle.
Mrs. Dalrymple-Philibert’s court matter is still ongoing.
But while speaking on Cliff Hughes Online Thursday morning, Mrs. Dalrymple-Philibert says she is returning to representation politics with a clear conscience.
The former MP says her return was motivated by an overwhelming call from the people of South Trelawny.
