Coach of the West Indies whiteball teams, Darren Sammy, says he’s hoping to become the first person to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup as a player and a coach.
The USA and West Indies will host the tournament from June 1-29.
Sammy led the Caribbean men to their two World Cup titles in 2012 and 2016.
He says winning as coach on home soil would ignite a spirit of pride through the region.
Sammy says the Windies are ready to take on the best in the world.
