Economist Predicts Rebound for Several Local Industries

Senior lecturer in the Department of Economics at the Mona campus of the UWI, Dr. Christine Clarke, thinks multiple industries are set to rebound following declines in the third quarter last year.

Speaking Tuesday on Nationwide at Five, Dr. Clarke says agriculture is among the areas in which she expects to see improvement.

Dr. Clarke also expects to see progress in the tourism industry.
