Dancehall star Mr. Vegas is weighing on the issue surrounding PNP president Mark Golding’s citizenship.
In a post on X and Instagram, Mr. Vegas says the Opposition Leader must declare his status, in order for Jamaicans to be in a position to accurately evaluate his stance on the issue of dual citizenship.
And former parliamentarian, Sharon Hay-Webster, who, as a PNP MP was also caught up in the dual citizenship court challenges instigated by her party in 2007, has also commented on the issue.
She says Mark Golding has an obligation to make an honest declaration to the Jamaican people.

Mrs. Hay Webster voluntarily gave up her US citizenship after the man who brought her to court, Devon McDaniel, abandoned the matter in the Supreme Court.
