Opposition Leader Mark Golding is calling on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to engage him in dialogue to end the ongoing impasse in the constitutional reform process.
Mr. Golding made the call while speaking at a PNP meeting in the Kintyre Division in East Rural St. Andrew on Saturday.
Mr. Golding says the PNP has always championed the abolition of the monarchy.
He says this is the reason the party wants the Privy Council to be removed as Jamaica’s final court.
And the Opposition Leader has criticised Transport Minister Daryl Vaz for what he says is his poor handling of the so-called ban on ride sharing apps operating in the island.
According to Mark Golding, Minister Vaz is too caught up in himself.
