Opposition Leader Mark Golding has shared a video on social media, showing what he says is proof that he is a born Jamaican.

This amid doubts over whether he was indeed born on the island amid debate over his declaration that he is a dual Jamaican/British citizen.

Mr. Golding has come under fire from the ruling JLP and users of social media over his continued membership of the House of Representatives as a dual citizen.

Golding is adamant that he is on the right side of the law as the constitution does allow a British national to sit in the Jamaican parliament.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
