Golding Urges Labourites to Switch to PNP For Next General Election

Opposition leader, Mark Golding, is urging long-time supporters of the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, to punish the party by switching their vote come the next general elections.

Addressing his People’s National Party, PNP, constituency conference in South St. Andrew on Sunday, Mr. Golding says the Jamaican people are disheartened by the direction in which the Holness administration is taking the country.

As the government enters the home stretch of its current tenure, Mark Golding says Jamaicans are frustrated with what little they have to show.

While the country has reached unprecedented levels of debt sustainability, the opposition leader questions what value this has for the average Jamaican.

He says the Andrew Holness administration has failed to invest in the people of the country.

The opposition leader is calling on JLP supporters to teach the government what he says is a much-needed lesson for the perceived failure.
