“For example, one of our clients, the Jamaica Public Service can set up its key terms, and the system immediately detects and aggregates any mention of these terms across all monitored media channels,” Terrelonge said.

It then compiles the data into detailed reports that are delivered to the client in real-time, offering unparalleled media intelligence.

Unlike basic tools like Google Alerts, which provide limited notifications without in-depth analysis, DRT’s media monitoring system delivers a comprehensive view of the data. 

It includes sentiment analysis, which assesses whether the mentions are positive, neutral, or negative. This feature is particularly valuable for communications directors and CEOs, as it enables them to gauge public perception and make informed decisions based on the aggregated sentiment from all media clippings.
