Hill Wants Jamaica to Export Knowledge Services

Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Senator Aubyn Hill, says Jamaica must begin to focus on exporting what he described as knowledge services.

The minister was speaking at the the Amber-UTech Launchpad at the University of Technology last week.

The initiative will see the Amber Group partnering with UTECH, to assist 100 start ups to launch their businesses over the next three years.

Up to $2 billion is expected to be invested in the programme.
