Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has committed to driving growth for all Jamaicans and not just a wealthy few.
Addressing the launch of Expo Jamaica at the National Arena on Thursday, Holness dismissed suggestions that his administration is practising trickle down economics.
The People’s National Party has consistently attacked the Holness administration on its growth record.
A chief refrain is that the government’s focus on macro-economic stability only works to the benefit of the wealthiest Jamaicans.
Dr. Holness says the purpose of his ASPIRE growth initiative is to deliver this inclusive growth.
