Over 70 stakeholders from the Caribbean are in Jamaica for the three-day regional Paralympic training camp, classification and technical courses for athletics and Boccia, staring today.
The educational and practical sessions are being sponsored by the International Paralympic Committee, IPC, the global governing body for para sport.
President of the Jamaica Paralymic Association, Christopher Samuda, says his administration is committed to building Caribbean capacity.
Samuda says para-athletes will also get an opportunity to qualify for global meets.
