Jamaica beat the Trinidad and Tobago Divas by five wickets in the third round of the West Indies women’s Super50 Cup, at Conaree Sports Club, in St. Kitts.
Batting first, Trinidad and Tobago were bowled out for 168 inside 44 overs. Lee-Ann Kirby made 48 and Samara Ramnath 29.
Kate Wilmott took three wickets and Nakeita Watts claimed two wickets for Jamaica.
In response, Jamaica raced to 172 for 5 in 31.4 overs. Chedean Nation and captain Stafanie Taylor posted a 100 run third wicket partnership to set Jamaica on the way to victory.
Taylor was eventually dismissed on 38, while Nation top scored with 70.
Meanwhile, Barbados reached 18 without loss against Guyana at St. Paul’s Sports Club.
Earlier, Guyana were bowled out for 128 inside 38 overs.
Shemaine Campbelle made 53.
Allison Gordon picked up four wickets for Barbados.
And the Windward Islands reached 249 for 4 against the Leeward Islands at Warner Park.
