Jamaican Schools Bag 2 Relay Championships of America Girls Titles at Penn Relays

Jamaican schools swept the medals in the final of the girls’ 4X100metres at the 128th staging of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field Stadium at the University of Pennsylvania, today.

Hydel retained their title when the quartet of Shemonique Hazle, Alliah Baker, Shania Myers, and Jody-Ann Daley won in 44.71 seconds.

Edwin Allen was second in 44.96 seconds, with St. Jago third in 45.14 seconds.

Wolmer’s finished 5, Holmwood 6th, and St. Mary 8th.

Hydel also defended their girls’ 4×400-metres crown winning in a time of 3-minutes-34.78 seconds.

Edwin Allen finished 4th, STETHS 5th, Wolmer’s 7th and Vere 8th.

Meanwhile, Edwin Allen was second in the girls’ 4-by-800-metres in 8-minutes-50.76 seconds.
