The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has selected 20 players to participate in the UEFA Under-18 Friendship Tournament, which will be held in Turkey, starting this weekend.
Jamaica, drawn in Group A with Mali, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, will begin their campaign on Monday against Saudi Arabia. They will tackle Turkey next Wednesday and Mali next Saturday. Group B consists of Ecuador, Guatemala, Morocco and Slovakia.
The Jamaican delegation, comprising eight officials, will depart the island on Friday and return on May 1.
The UEFA Friendship Tournament is a new initiative creating opportunities for talented young players to gain additional experience playing international football against teams from different confederations.
