The Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association, JMEA, says it will take about 12 months for the agro-processing industry to rebound from the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl.
Executive Director, Kamesha Blake spoke with Nationwide News at the JMEA’s ‘M and E’ Awards Nomination Cocktail at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on Tuesday.
Over 50 companies and 15 individuals were nominated across 28 competitive award categories.
Mrs. Blake says the awards are part of the association’s strategy to stimulate the manufacturing industry.
