Trinidad and Tobago’s under-16 and under-18 netball teams are expected in the island for the Island Vibes Netball tournament at the Stadium Courts, on September 20 and 22.
The Trinis were previously set to participate in the Netball Jamaica Youth Summer Invitational in August, but had to pull out due to flight schedule challenges.
Jamaica’s under-16 team will play their Trinidad and Tobago counterparts in a two match series, while Trinidad’s under-18 team will play a two match series against Denbigh High, winners of the Youth Summer Invitational and first holders of the Marva Bernard Trophy.
Team members of the National Under-16 squad including representatives from both urban and rural schools have been in training over the past six months under the leadership of co-coaches Nardia Hanson and Kerry-Ann Brown.
