Lee-Chin’s comments follow news from the Planning Institute of Jamaica, PIOJ, that economic growth was flat for the April to June Quarter of this year.
According to the PIOJ, the economy grew by 0.1 per cent.
The PIOJ is also estimating that the economy will contract in the next quarter due to the impact of Hurricane Beryl.
