Red hot Jamaican International Leon Bailey has been left out of the 23 man squad named for the big Concacaf Nations League semi-final against champions the United States next Thursday at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas Texas.

Bailey, who has been in supreme form for his English Premier League club Aston Villa, has been suspended after sleeping out during camp for the Nations Cup game against Canada here in Jamaica.

Coach Hiemir Hallgrimmson explained the situation at this morning’s press conference to announce the squad.

Clarendon College DaCosta Cup star Kahiem Dixon has forced his way into the squad and he’s now looking forward to working his way into the eleven.

Exciting Sheffield United star 18 year old Bailey Cadamarteri is also in the squad along with Mount Pleasant F.C goalkeeper Shaquan Davis

Cavalier defender Richard King makes a return to the senior international fold, so does Cory Burke.

Renaldo Cephas, Haroy Anderson and Dexter Lembikisa have also been named.

Jamaica will however be without strikers Demarai Gray and Shamar Nicholson for the game against the United States, they are both out on card suspension, but will be available for either the final or the third place playoff.

Hallgrimmson says the situation presents opportunities for other players in the squad to show their worth.
