The Member of Parliament for East Rural St. Andrew, Juliet Holness, says there’s no truth to rumours that she will not seek reelection in the constituency at the next general election.
Speaking at her annual constituency conference on Sunday, where she battled hoarseness, Mrs. Holness urged her supporters to ignore the claim that she’ll be retreating to an easier seat.
Mrs. Holness says she’s on a mission to deliver better roads through the community of Kintyre in the constituency.
She says under the government’s SPARK programme the Kintyre road which leads to Mavis Bank Square will be widened to accommodate JUTC buses and garbage trucks.
