The first images of convicted killer Oscar Pistorius since his release from prison have been revealed by the UK’s Daily Mail.
Pistorius, the 37-year-old disgraced Paralympian, was sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2015 for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, shooting her through a locked door.
The South African, who gained international fame for his performances on the track, was released on parole in January after serving seven years of his sentence.
As part of the conditions of his parole, Pistorius is not allowed to speak with the media or be pictured.
However, the DailyMail snapped photos of a smiling Pistorius as he checked in with his parole officer. The photos were released by the Mail on Tuesday.

After winning a slew of medals at the Para-World Championships and Para-Olympics, the former sprinter became the first amputee to compete in the able-bodied sprint events at an Olympics in 2012, gaining the nickname the ‘Blade Runner’, in the process.
The Mail reports that Pistorius, who was also a party boy, has been barred from drinking or attending parties meaning he now spends almost all of his time at home at his uncle’s luxury Johannesburg mansion.
The Mail says Pistorius is now a devout Christian and when he’s not at home he volunteers at a nearby church.
On Valentine’s Day in 2013, Pistorius shot Steenkamp multiple times through a closed door, killing her. The athlete has always maintained he acted in self-defence as he believed an intruder had entered the house.
