Prime Minister Andrew Holness has informed Diaspora members about his administration’s plans to make significant investment in the country’s road infrastructure.
Speaking at a Diaspora town hall at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in New York on Saturday, Holness said road maintenance had not been prioritised for many years, but the $40 billion SPARK programme is intended to change that.
Prime Minister Holness says that it will take 20 years to have all roads in good condition.
