Opposition Spokesperson on Information, Nekeisha Burchell, is calling on the prime minister to ensure that members of his administration uphold the principles of decency, honesty and truth in public discourse.
Miss Burchell referenced the prime minister’s commitment to remaining above gutter politics, which he mentioned during a Jamaica Labour Party meeting in East Rural St. Andrew on Sunday.
Miss Burchell highlighted what she says are infractions by Deputy Speaker of the House Heroy Clarke and Transport Minister Daryl Vaz.
Miss Burchell also mentioned incidents involving the MP for Eastern St. Thomas, Dr. Michelle Charles and MP for West Rural St. Andrew, Juliet Cuthbert Flynn.
