Public commentator, Deacon Peter Espeut, says the opposition People’s National Party, PNP, has not shown itself to be a strong alternative to the governing Jamaica Labour Party, JLP.
He was reacting to the findings of the latest Nationwide/Bluedot poll, powered by Total Tools, which indicate that a small majority of Jamaicans believe the Holness administration deserves a third term in office.

According to the Nationwide/Bluedot poll, 52 per cent say the JLP should get another chance to govern the country. The other 48 per cent of respondents said no.
The findings represent a four percentage point majority, just outside the 3 per cent margin of error.
