Jamaica’s national senior women’s football team has secured two high profile international friendlies against South American powers Brazil.
The first game is scheduled for June 1 in Recife, while the second game is set for the city of Salvador on June 4. Both games to be played in the upcoming FIFA match window.
The teams were drawn in the same group at the last FIFA world cup in Australia last year and played out a goalless draw in Melbourne, a result which knocked Brazil out of the tournament and sent Jamaica through to the knockout stage for the first time in history.
Brazil will use the two games as part of their build up to the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
Jamaica did not make it to the Olympic games after being knocked out in a two legged qualifying tie by Canada.
