Presumptive candidate for the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, in the North East St. Ann by-election, Matthew Samuda, says he’s looking forward to working with the people in the constituency.
Marsha Smith’s resignation as member of parliament paved the way for Samuda to be the party’s standard-bearer for North East St. Ann.
The by election will be held on September 30, with nomination day set for Wednesday, September 11.
Mr. Samuda says he’s confident of victory.
