Several members of the National senior women’s football team which reached the round of 16 at the last FIFA World Cup in Australia have indicated that they will be available to wear the Jamaica shirt again.
General secretary of the Jamaica Football Federation, JFF, Dennis Chung, told Nationwide Sports the federation reached out to the players last week after securing an international friendly against Australia on April 5 in Florida.
Chung says the response was positive and they’re looking forward to having the players back for this big game against the Aussies who placed fourth at the last World Cup.

The players made themselves unavailable for selection after losing to Canada in the two way tie to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games.
They pointed to a litany of issues for refusing to play for the national team, chief among them monies owed to them by the federation.
Chung and the federation have reported that all monies owed have now been paid up, which has been confirmed by the body representing the players, FIFPRO.
