Jamaican SIM racers Jayden Harrision and Joshua Brady earned podium and top-10 finishes, respectively, at Round 5 of the Digital Autosport of Ukraine GT3 Solo Endurance Championship at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Harrision was hampered by an early computer issue, which caused a crash on the second lap of the race.
He then mounted a brilliant comeback drive to finish second, while Brady secured seventh in the difficult rain conditions throughout the race.
Despite missing the first round of the championship at Daytona, Harrison and Brady’s consistent driving has elevated Team Jamaica to second overall in the team championship, just 33 points off the Team Oman leaders.
With one race left in the championship, Harrison, currently sixth in the standings, also has a mathematical chance for the driver’s championship as well.
The final event of the series is at Sebring International Raceway, on March 22.
