Sunil Narine Hit a Century in a Losing Effort for KKR in IPL

Former West Indies spin bowler, Sunil Narine impressed with a century today but could not prevent the Kolkata Knight Riders going down by 2-wickets against Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens in Indian Premier League.

Narine’s maiden IPL ton, 109 came off 56 balls with 13-fours and 6-sixes to help the KKR to 223 for 6 off their 20 overs.

Ang-krish Raghu-vanshi made 30 and Rinku Singh 20 not out.

Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Sen took two wickets each for the Royals.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals made 224 for 8 off their 20 overs.

Jos Buttler upstaged Narine with a classy unbeaten 107, while Riyan Parag made 34 and Rovman Powell 26.
