West Portland member of parliament, Daryl Vaz, says Mark Golding’s announcement on Sunday that he plans to renounce his British citizenship is too little, too late.
Golding, in a social media post Sunday, said he had taken time to listen to internal and external views in coming to a decision on the matter.
He says he did not want his status to affect the PNP or its candidates.
But Vaz, who has been one of Golding’s most strident critics on the subject, says the Opposition Leader caved in to pressure from inside and outside the PNP.
