Wigton Windfarm Limited trading as Wigton Energy says it has appointed Norman Naar as its chief commercial officer effective September 16, 2024.
In a statement on the website of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, Wigton Energy said the appointment comes in the wake of changes that were made to its leadership and organizational chart in August 2023.
It says these changes were specifically related to the job position of Business Development and Innovation Manager, a job title that has been changed to that of Chief Commercial Officer.
Wigton Energy says Naar will be responsible for implementing the commercial strategy of the entity; driving its business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and cultivating relationships; and achieving growth targets.
Naar is a global business development leader with extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning and development, business development, sales, marketing, operations, information technology and project management.
