Eleven Jamaicans are down to compete in Shanghai, the second stop on the Wanda Diamond League Circuit, tomorrow.
100-metres hurdles World champion, Danielle Williams and Olympic 110-metres hurdles Champion Hansle Parchment will be out to claim their first wins of the season after disappointment in Xiamen.
Williams who finished fourth last week, will again get strong competition from compatriot Megan Tapper, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico and the Bahamas’ Devynne Charlton.
Camacho-Quinn won in Xiamen in a meeting record and season best 12.45 seconds, while Chalton was second.
Meanwhile, Parchment’s challenge will come from the American pair of Daniel Roberts and Jamal Britt.
Other Jamaicans down to compete are, Danniel Thomas-Dodd, Aisha Praught-Leer, Christoff Bryan, Stephenie-Ann McPherson, Ackeem Blake, Rohan Watson, Tajay Gayle, and Carey McLeod.
